Ideas for a Romantic Evening

A Night at the Theatre

Tivoli Theatre - Wimborne

A beautifully restored Art Deco theatre.  They show a good cross range of entertainment - ask to book the kissing seats - they are made for 2 - how lovely!  Wimborne itself is steeped with history and atmosphere - a Christmas Time the seasonal lights make the place take on a magical feel.

Sundown picnic ideas

What could be more romantic than sharing good food and good company and outstanding scenery. Here are a couple of suggestions of places to go to share that picnic while watching the sun go down.  Take a folding chairs and table, and just chill................and enjoy.  And, if you want to keep the workload down why not pick up your picnic hamper from our suggested suppliers who all guarantee that wherever possible the items in their hampers are locally sourced.  We are, at present urgently seeking a hamper supplier - could that be you - please contact us!

Badbury Rings - Wimborne

Set yourself up in the car park up by the rings.  The view is absolutely stunning and, on a warm summers evening what could be better than to share a picnic here while watching the sun slowly go down.  Look out for the glow worms too.

Kimmeridge Bay - Wareham

The car park is at the top of the cliffs overlooking the sea - never seems to get particularly busy here so can find you have the place to yourself.  Last time we were there we sat outside with our picnic, watching the view while the sound of music from Classic FM drifted out from the car and we sipped the local wine Kimmeridge Mist - p e r f e c t !

Studland - Poole

Take the road from Corfe Castle toward Studland and before you reach Studland you will find a car park on the lefthand side with a view right out across Poole Harbour - absolutely stunning and the kind of view people will travel many thousands of miles to see and yet here it is in Dorset.  It is a popular place so unlikely you will be alone but with that view to share as well as your picnic it is well worth checking ot out.
